No On the Net again this issue, Alan And I seem to miss each other come publication time. Normally this would throw me into a panic as there would be very little material to fill Despatch. Not this issue, however. This Despatch contains a variety of material including another scenario for Barbarossa to Berlin, a scenario for Hannibal, a play aid for Paths of Glory and a review of a GMT game. Thanks for all the contributions, guys, I even have a couple of lengthy articles in the bank. I have discovered an ASL player only 10 minutes drive from me, so at lest two Sundays a month I get my ASL fix. This is great as I was looking to get back into ASL, at least to justify the investment, and Nick came along at the right time. My other new found pastime is cycling, both for exercise and as a means of exploring the local area. Mainly off road stuff , there are a number of disused railway tracks nearby that have been converted to cycle tracks. Well, I’m really looking forward to the next con, thanks to Chris and Murray for all the legwork to find a suitable venue. From Chris’s description it sounds like an ideal venue. I intend to take PoG and BtB as my “serious” games. Any takers for a match? |
